The best approach for your exam
Explore tailored guidance for your prep
Prepare properly without putting the rest of your life on hold. Our oral exam preparation is comprehensive but flexible, built around your exam timeline, budget and availability.
The Flexible Approach lets you choose the parts of Whitehorse prep that suit your needs, budget and timeline. You can use eLearning, small-group clinics, private sessions and mock orals individually, or combine them in whatever way makes sense for your exam preparation.
Both approaches use the same core elements; eLearning, small-group clinics and private sessions. The Flexible Approach lets you pick and choose as you go, while the Path to Pass System brings those elements together into a more complete preparation route from the start.
It is ideal if you have already started your preparation, know your weaker areas or only need specific support such as a few clinics, a mock oral or access to selected eLearning modules. It is also a good starting point if you want to begin with one element and add more support as your exam gets closer.
Not necessarily. You can use whichever parts of Whitehorse's prep are most useful to you. However, most candidates benefit from combining eLearning, clinics and private sessions; eLearning gives you the knowledge base, clinics help you practise and learn with others, and private sessions allow for targeted feedback on your own weak areas.
Yes. If you are not sure where to start with your oral exam prep, please contact us for a chat. We will give you honest guidance based on your ticket, confidence level, timeline and budget.
Of course! Some candidates start by choosing one or two elements, then add more structure once they understand what they need.
If you decide that you would benefit from combining eLearning, clinics and private sessions into a more structured and comprehensive prep plan, we can help you build that around your exam date and budget.
Yes. If your exam is close, the Flexible Approach can be useful for targeted revision, mock-style questioning and identifying the areas most likely to hold you back. However, the more time you have, the easier it is to build real understanding, so it's best not to wait until the last minute.
Definitely. The Flexible Approach is designed for candidates with busy or irregular schedules. You can study through eLearning in your own time, join clinics when available and book private sessions at at a time that suits you.
