The whole nine yards
What we offer
Comprehensive eLearning
Our eLearning prep courses are the cornerstone of your preparation. Combining interactive courses, up-to-date reference materials, podcasts and the WhitehorseAI Personal Tutor chatbots, they allow you to master critical topics at your own pace.
Small-Group Clinics
Candidates attend our regular schedule of small-group clinics, capped at six people, because speaking out loud and engaging in structured practice builds your confidence and highlights weak areas early.
Private Sessions
Whether you want to book a series of structured sessions to cover the whole syllabus or a realistic mock with someone new, our friendly and experienced Master Unlimited tutors will get the absolute best out of you.

Let's discuss your prep plan
Whether you’ve decided on our Path to Pass System or are leaning towards a Flexible Approach, the best first step is to drop us a message. If you’re not sure which approach suits you, feel free to reach out for some free study planning advice.
Ready to dive in?
Of course! If you’re not sure whether you need a full prep programme, a few targeted sessions or just access to our eLearning, just drop us a message on WhatsApp for some free guidance.
We’ll help you choose a sensible, affordable route rather than pushing you towards more support than you need.
We help over 1,000 candidates a year prepare for their oral exams, and many choose Whitehorse instead of attending a traditional oral prep course.
A fixed course may appear more structured, but it also means moving at the pace of the course and the other candidates, who may be more or less prepared than you. Our flexible approach allows your preparation to be built around your needs and budget, while still giving you access to structured prep materials, study buddies and guidance right up to the day of your exam.
We offer prep for all Deck oral exams, from yacht to workboat and fishing to unlimited tickets. If you're not sure whether we can support you, please drop us a message on WhatsApp for a free, honest assessment of the best approach for you.
Yes, many candidates come to us before or after another prep course because they want extra support, more personalised attention or to make use of our eLearning prep materials.
Candidates following our Path to Pass System typically use our eLearning prep courses for 2-3 months, attend clinics weekly for 4-6 weeks before their exam and add private sessions in the final 2-4 weeks.
If you prefer our Flexible Approach, you can combine any of these elements at any time before your exam.
Clinics are scheduled small-group sessions focused on a specific exam area. They are a great way to practise speaking out loud, hear how other candidates answer and identify gaps in your own understanding.
Private sessions are booked solo or with friends to suit you and allow the tutor to focus entirely on your ticket, experience and weak areas.
Yes. Our prep is designed to be flexible and built around your timeline, budget and availability. You can study through eLearning in your own time, join clinics when available and book private sessions around your schedule.
Although Whitehorse is best known for MCA oral exam preparation, we also support candidates preparing for oral exams in a wide range of other jurisdictions.
Most oral exams are built around international regulations, best practice and sound professional judgement, so our experienced tutors can still help you build knowledge and explain it clearly. We also have dedicated tutors based around the world with CoCs from different administrations.
If you are preparing for a non-MCA oral, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll give you an honest view on whether or not we are able to help.
We may be able to arrange in-person sessions if you live near one of our tutors. Please drop us a message on WhatsApp to discuss options.
Having said that, almost all of our candidates choose online prep because it is usually more effective, more flexible and more affordable. It also saves travel time and allows us to match you with the most suitable tutor, rather than simply the nearest one.
